The "New Baby" logged 1400km💪⚡️ just this weekend: Magic Shows in Elsipogtog First Nation (New Brunswick), Amherst, New Glasgow, Halifax, and Bridgewater.❤️![]()

GET THIS!😮❗️Exhausted at the end (large public event for Family Day in Bridgewater), a young lady (now 22) at reception kindly lit up, bursting with excitement: "Are you really Mr. J? You were at my house, for my FIFTH Birthday!" Did some new Magic for her, for old time sake, and she insisted on a picture (see attached).😀![]()

Wow. Being remembered so fondly after 17 years?‼️ Forget being "tired!" What a Magical boost!🥳🪄✨️![]()

GET THIS: TWO HOMELESS GUYS (!) came to the rescue!🦸♂️🦸♂️They helped me get the spare on in just 15 minutes. Learned their situation when asking where they lived: "In that TENT over there!"😮(!!)![]()

Humbling.😔😑The mill in their small Newfoundland hometown closed, laying off thousands, forcing them here. Still, they steadfastly REFUSED ANY MONEY (!!) for their help! ![]()

Insisted (of course), and gave 'em each $20 bucks. Best dough I ever spent.🥰👍![]()

(Seems we have a serious housing crisis, but luckily not a Kindness Krisis...)🤔👍![]()

The spare could at least get me to a garage...but what shop would be open with the long holiday weekend?🫢Let alone have the right type o' tire?🫨 Enter longtime friend Jamie Dean and the Titanic Team at Dean & Son's Auto (aka "The Best Around")...they motored with their own Magic, and got the Magic Mobile a wheel!🚗⚡️👍![]()

Had to call the seniors home, explaining that for the FIRST time in 25 years of performing...that now I couldn't make the show on time.😢Very apologetic. Even more kindness then shown: they were VERY understanding!😇![]()

Side note: Literally, a MINUTE before the flat tire, received a dealership call: "David, your NEW CAR you ordered will be ready NEXT WEEK!" (Oh, the timing...maybe the old tire decided to burst in protest??)😋![]()

Finally made the show. Performed for a wonderful group of amazing seniors.🥰 Buoyed by the benevolence afforded by so many others, the energy was pure JOY!🤗![]()
Got to meet and talk with everyone. Many said it made their year.🥰![]()
